Forests with Beaches

Some memories become dreamy with time, and dreams feel like actual memories. These merging images in my brain are the subject of this piece and far from being abstract, it is actually a triumph in photo-realism. Long walks, forests with beaches (my favourite kind), awe-seeking, curious exploring, finding things you've never found before, and peek-through views that feel like freedom.
Part of a series painted during lockdown, I was creating freedom, spontaneity, lightness and brightness when these things where missing from real life.
